Creating a Child-Friendly Environment: Art at Their Level II...

Here is another method I've found to put art at my children's eye level without leaving nail holes.

What a nice idea! I know a woman with six kids who will adore this suggestion...so glad you shared!

I just put up a postcard of a Waterhouse painting myself! The Lady of Shallot, of course... ;-)

Great idea!

I forwarded it to my daughter (well, I sent her the link). :)

Not to be the rain on your parade (which I think is a WONDERFUL idea), just be careful sometimes that putty leaves a little dark stain on the wall.

No worries, Jamie!

I kind of thought that it might, but I know that the owners of this house will be painting over everything when we leave. We would be responsible for patching nail holes though.

I just found your blog and will definitely be a regular reader, now. I wanted to ask about the cradle in this picture. We have the same one and it was made by my husband's grandfather. It must have been a kit or pattern. Is yours a family antique as well?

Hi Susan!

No, our cradle isn't a family antique. It was recently given to our little one by my sister. She found it at an Amish country store.

Thanks for reading my blog:)
