The Mission is Moving...

Thank you very much for all of the prayers you said on our behalf this past weekend! There was no ugliness at the meeting and the entire congregation decided unanimously to move the church to a different ( and much better) location!! Within the next eight weeks, we hope to be holding services in a new worship space! I am hoping to document (with my husband's help!) the move with pictures, so stay tuned if you want to see an office building transformed into an Orthodox chapel!

Wow! How exciting! I'm glad things went well and I'm looking forward to seeing the move. I can't believe you'll make it happen so quickly. Don't wear yourself out, though! :-)

I DOO want to see an office building transformed into an Orthodox Church! That will be quite the transformation!!

Yes, I agree with Courtney...no heavy lifting for you!!

I don't know about you but I am feeling great, but starting to feel my body slow down a bit.

God Bless
Jamie

Whew.
Our church is still in mission status and we've experienced our share of contentious meetings. It's your priest and the Word and Sacrament that really matter.
Blessings to your congregation!

What a blessing that everything went not just well, but unanimously!?! That is fantastic.

I hope your move goes smoothly and you can build a beautiful church.

Thank God for such answers to prayer--it will be cool to see the move pictures etc.Hmm, maybe cool is not appropriate?

Don't worry ladies! There will be no heavy lifting for me:) I am going to be content just to watch and snap pictures from the sidelines!

Cool is definitely appropriate, NannyKim:)
