I have officially hit a mental block with this blog! What do you want me to blog about?

I do this occasionally and I just write about my own homelife... which probably isn't very interesting... lol I guess we hit blocks in our homemaking as well at times. I hope yours doesn't last very long, I have enjoyed reading your posts tremendously!

I think writing about your daily life is an excellent idea. I enjoy those kinds of posts, especially from creative people like yourself. (o:

I agree with gaylyn and Mrs B just a post about your every day doings would be fun and interesting to read. Or perhaps your daily schedule, if you haven't already posted on that.

Hi Emma,

I haven't commented before, but I have been so enjoying your blog, and am glad you mentioned it on French Chic. It might be useful to remember why you started this blog, to increase femininity in your life. Your George Eliot quote also lends itself to a self-improvement angle, so you could think of aspects of your life that you're not 100% happy with and research and write on those. I revisited Fascinating Womanhood when you wrote on it and it was very inspirational to me, and I have also enjoyed other excerpts and lists you have used, so perhaps to get you through your mental block, you could share parts of books that speak to you. Good luck and keep up the fantastique work!

How about writing book reviews for the books you recommend, what's good, what's bad, how they changed you or what you do differently now.

Advice for women who are pregnant or just had a baby esp in terms of remaining 'peaceful and lovely'.

I like the above suggestions and how about finding modest, cute, and functional clothes for spring/summer? I'm having a terrible time with that and on a very limited budget! Or a peek into your wardrobe? I'm such a clotheshorse and nosy enough to really get a kick out of that kind of thing!

I think all of the above suggestions sound wonderful! I love your blog, Emma!

May I just echo that those are all wonderful ideas others have given.

I, also, like the French Chic idea. I have both books by that author and a few others in that same genre. Aren't you also a member of the yahoo group? I am, I never post on it, just read.

Although if you start to write on such lovely ideas, I'm going to miss them!! :( I'm giving up blogging (writing and reading) for Lent.

What about a book review from your feminine inspiration list? I personally enjoy seeing the feminine touches in your home. What about a week of dresses?

French Chic sounds very interesting. Or write about your homemaking routines. :)

Maybe you could write about feminine hobbies. Although I like the above ideas too.
