Menu Planning...

I've been continually inspired by the meals that Hannah comes up with for her family - she even plans hot breakfasts. I've been trying to do the same here (french bread toast with butter and jam, pancakes and sausage, eggs, french toast, cream of wheat with brown sugar and bananas, and apple crisp). Some mornings are easier than others, but I have noticed that we have a better morning with a good breakfast filling our bellies that we (my little girl and I) prepare together.

Here's the rest of this week's menu plan:

Sunday
Lunch: Grilled Chicken over Garden Salad with Balsamic Vinegar Dressing
Dinner: Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti

Monday
Lunch: Pepperoni Pizza
Dinner: Sloppy Joes

Tuesday
Lunch: Leftovers
Dinner Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, and Green Beans

Wednesday
Lunch: Black Bean Soup and Bread
Dinner: Shrimp Scampi, Salad, and Garlic Bread

Thursday
Brunch: Pancakes and Sausage
Dinner: Chicken, Broccoli and Cheese Casserole and Applesauce

Friday
Lunch: Tuna fish sandwiches, chips, and pickles
Dinner: Baked Fish, Oven Baked potatoes, and Salad

Saturday
Lunch: Sandwiches, chips, and pickles
Dinner: Burgers

Sunday
Lunch: Sandwiches, chips, and pickles
Dinner: Chicken Pot Pie and Salad

What a great menu! It's always wonderful to get new ideas. Sometimes I get in a rut! I appreciate the blog reference, too. :)

Wow! Great menu. I've been trying to do better with hot breakfasts too. I'm impressed you plan/cook lunch almost everyday. We usually just have leftovers or my toddler snacks all day (on healthy stuff!) and we don't have a formal lunch.

Now I am hungry. I am also impressed with the lunch menu. I really want to get to that point as well. Joseph and I would be a lot better off if he had a nice lunch. Any hints on what to give a thirteen year old for lunch so that I can eat something too? *L*

The menu plan sounds great! I would love to hear more about how you fit cooking three meals a day without getting behind in other areas, if you are willing.

Thank you for sharing your menu plan. Reading other's ideas helps me firm up my own list of eats! :)

Have a great day!
