After a lovely, warm day on Monday, it was shocking to wake up to a very light dusting of snow this morning. The temperatures will be below freezing tonight and I worry for the tender strawberry plants and peach trees in flower in our area. According to reports from farmers, the plants are two weeks ahead of schedule, so a freeze will really do a lot of damage to the crops.
In other news, the church painting is going well! We are almost out of the ugly duckling phase of the project and are hopeful that we will be able to be finished with the main part of the ceiling and walls by Presanctified Liturgy on Wednesday evening.
