We've used this trick for years to revive our Christmas tree, but I had never thought to try it on flowers! It would probably just apply to those with woody stems, as it would probably be too harsh for the others. That's amazing! Have you ever tried drying hydrangeas? Maybe it doesn't work on store bought ones, I don't know, but I dry the ones that I cut off my bush and they last about a year.
