I really don't seem to make much progress in my knitting during Great Lent, but I am getting a row done here and there on my Grasshopper. I love the color and the simplicity of the pattern. I have no trouble picking it up and figuring out right where I am, which is so nice.
I am reading a lot right now and whipped through Flannery O'Connor's A Prayer Journal. It is a slim volume, but packs a powerful punch and is a worthy read.

Your book looks very interesting. I love patterns I can pick up at any point and just knit without having to figure it all out.
I just finished this book, a gift from my husband for my birthday. Flannery is one of my favorites.
My knitting slows around his time, I'll blame it on my kids spring breaks one week after the next! Lovely knitting you are not knitting :)
this book is in my husband's stash for me for later :) looking forward to it!!
Your knit is going to be beautiful!
Same for me ~ hard to have the time to knit... well, there are seasons for everything, right?
Thank you for the book recommendation. I will have to look for it. And your knitting project is such a pretty color.
Love your grasshopper, the colour the texture, perfect!
