We are starting finger knitting too! I'm using the story/instructions from here: http://youtu.be/xMQr_nLn4FM. We might step back and do finger weaving first, though, since it's a bit easier. Be sure to update on your progress! I've been considering a knitting mushroom too. :-)

hi! i've been reading your blog off and on for a while, but haven't commented in probably a year! i love the ideas you have for your children, i hope to incorporate some into our homeschool as well! i see you have a little boy in speech as well; our son started speech therapy about 3 weeks ago. if it's ok to ask, what kind of speech difficulties does your son have? our son has problems with articulation as well as mild apraxia.
