Our Thanksgiving Menu

Each year we celebrate Thanksgiving early with my husband's side of the family.  Rather than holding our festivities in the beginning of November as we usually do, we will have our meal on October 2nd.  Here is our menu:
Hors d'oeuvres
Vegetable and Dip Platter
Cheese Platter
Sausage Stuffed Jalapeno and Sweet Peppers
Main Course
Turkey (as long as I can find one!)
Mashed Potatoes
Cranberry Sauce
Squash Casserole
Vanilla Ice Cream

My goodness that's a lot of cooking/baking! But now you have the super trio as kitchen helpers right? Hopefully it'll lighten the load for you a bit. One of these days I am going to try that stuffed pumpkin recipe.

This is the best function room in the city. The food they served was warm, fresh and tasty, and the panoramic window is a sight to behold on a clear day. The main hall at Chicago event venues was similar to a club/lounge – however, it had more of an intimate feel.
