The children and I took our visiting friends to see the ocean today! The water was calm and warm and shallow enough that the little ones were able to swim a little bit. September is truly the best time to be at the seaside. The water is glorious, the crowds are gone, and it's not too hot.

I agree. We're heading to the beach in 2 weeks for much the same reason.

I was wondering.... somewhere on the net, there is a 40 day Philip's fast 'Jesse tree' with Bible verses and ornaments to print and color...made by an Orthodox mom- if you know where it is, can you reply here with the link. I have been searching. I should have bookmarked it. Thanks!
