What I Wore Wednesday...

I usually buy shoes twice a year (sandals and fall/winter ones) and they are mainly junky ones that I grab up at Target. Recently, my dogs have been barking and I found these Born sandals on sale on Amazon. Luckily, they had my size and let me tell you! Quality shoes are going to be first and foremost on my wardrobe shopping list. There is a huge difference! I wore these all day, and my feet feel great... amazing for a new pair of shoes!

Do you shop for quality or quantity when it comes to shoes?

P.S. The white up there is my baby bump!

Nice! I totally go for quality over quanity... I only have (other than my boots) Birkenstocks... really can make a difference! and when I need the heels replaced, instead of buying new ones (very $) I get them re-heeled at a local shoe repair shop... :)

how exciting RE: baby bump!

I've been following your blog for a while now and love it.

As for the shoes?

Quality, when I can. I LOVE BORNS !!! You may try looking for them at Marshall's, TJ Maxx and other type stores like that if you have them in your area. They usually carry them at a great discount too ! Your feet will love you ! Especially now that you are carrying that growing baby inside of you !

Quality. In fact, I have tendon damage in one of my toes from an adverse reaction to a prescription med. I can only wear certain shoes, or I can't walk at all.

Love the baby bump. :)

I agree...quality. Plus you mentioned you buy new ones each year. With good quality shoes they will last for years....and so in the long run may save you money. I have been wearing the same pair of brown Keen maryjane shoes for about 5 or 6 years!! They are just getting really worn out now and so I plan to replace them in the Fall. I have had nice Birkenstock sandles that also lasted me at least that long (and are still kicking..they are my spare pair now) and I got nice Bass sandals 3 years ago that are still in great shape etc etc..So definitely go for quality!

Quality all the way. Never underestimate a good pair of shoes! I had a pair of Born sandals that lasted through most of high school and college. I'm eyeing a pair of Keens this year. My Aerosoles have finally expired!

LOVE the bump :)

I wear Clarks. I love them! They are comfortable and basically form to your feet. I am in need of a new pair for this summer...

A love pat for the baby bump...

Almost always quality, which is why I only own a few pair of shoes. I hate to shop, so only end up buying when things are desperate. My favorite shoe is always a beach sandal. I wear an expensive pair made by Chaco. My parents have super terrible feet, so I'm trying to avoid their pitfalls by keeping my feet well supported. :)

Long ago I lived in Europe, and learned to love their habits of buying only a few new things each season--or not as often--depending on finances. But their purchases rarely spoke of fads, but were beautiful, long lasting, handcrafted, and well designed items... Just love those Italians!

I go for quality for my every day shoes. Chaco is an excellent brand. Two pairs of Chaco shoes cured my heel pain. :)
