I haven't made these biscuits in a long time, but they were the perfect breakfast this morning. In addition to slathering them with butter and jam, we really like using them as the crust on our chicken pot pie!

Katie and I made Ina's chicken stew with biscuits on Tuesday and I thought of you as Katie was trying to humor me with Ina-isms. I was nursing Ella and reading her the directions as she worked on the dish. When I told her to add in 1/4 cup of cream Katie said, "Make sure you use *good* cream." After she stirred in the cream she looked at me and then said, "Now, how easy is that!"
