I Need More Craft Ideas Like I Need a Hole in my Head!

For the past year, there has been a new magazine making it's way into my cart at Michael's craft store: Living Crafts. Since nearly every issue of this magazine has some craft involving wool roving in it, I was so happy to find some at AC Moore! I bought several colors of wool and a needle felting kit. This spring scene is my first try at needle felting and I LOVE it! I would like to make a scene for each season of the year... we'll see how it goes!

P.S. Living Crafts is a bit pricey, but you can use your 50% off coupon from Michaels! Every little bit helps!

It came out beautifully! It will be just perfect over the nature shelf!

That looks very pretty! I have made a craft store moratorium for myself. *chuckles* Too much stuff that is still waiting to be used. I can not buy anything more until my sock is finished. Or I give up on it. *L* So far, so good, it only goes so slow because the days have been insanely busy.

That is very pretty. How do you have time to take care of your family and your home as well as crafting? I used to scrapbook and after our baby girl was born, I just haven't had the time to pick it back up.

You should do a post on how you organize your time. I'd love to know how you do it!

Beautiful! I've been wanting to try that for a while. Unfortunately, I live in a country without craft stores. I tell myself that I can rationalize ordering supplies for projects like that when my children are old enough, and we'll be doing it together. :-)

Emma, it is very beautiful! I find that when I craft it brings me peace.

Hey Michelle!

Crafting is something that I try to do most days. Though I enjoy other things, craft projects are usually my number one favorite thing to do when I have down time (usually once the babies are tucked in). Most of my crafts are quick ones though, so they don't require a lot of patience, effort, and materials. Doing this needle felting project took about two hours - I was also watching Fireproof and hanging out with my sisters while I did it though!
