Remembering Our Honeymoon: Day One...

A little over three years ago, we went to San Fransisco for our honeymoon. I mentioned it in one of the recent Memes that I took and Miss G. commented that she is going there for her honeymoon too! I found our photo album and though it would be neat to share what we did.

The first day was mainly spent traveling. I got to go on an airplane for the first time I could remember! We checked in to our hotel and headed down to the Pier to do some sightseeing and have dinner (I think that we went to an Irish Pub). Riding the streetcars was a lot of fun! I remember that we were surprised at the difference in temperature from the East Coast to San Fransisco - August was the hottest month where we lived, but one of the cooler months for San Fran!

That looks very nice- the hotel room is beautiful.

I some how managed not to take any good photos on our honeymoon. My camera was dying at the time and taking photos very strangely. It is a disappointment, but I guess that means we just need to take a second honeymoon :)

We honeymooned in Tiburon, which is just near San Francisco. We spent a day sightseeing in SF. It is one of my favorite places, when I was little my mother would take me there for a special day out just her and I at least once a year. She and I and the boys went for the day when we visited this summer, it was so much fun. Thanks for sharing your photos!

We went to Berkeley for our honeymoon. When we were growing up in Northern California, we used to go to San Francisco during the summer to cool off!

Gorgeous photos! And, Happy Anniversary!

Thanks for sharing these! SF is one of my favorite cities, and we fantasize about moving back to the Bay Area. (I say "back" since that's my dad's hometown/area.) I might steal your idea and post some of our "familymoon" pictures!

Lovely! We honeymooned in San Francisco, too, in 2003. (We also spent a few nights in Monterey and drove down to Big Sur.) It holds a very special place in my heart. It's nice to relive it through these pictures.
