Yarn Along: Yarrow Bloom Redux...

Sometime last year, I bought two skeins of Madeline Tosh DK in Yarrow Bloom.  The first became an Audrey Hat for me and now the second is becoming a Lottie Beret for my daughter.  I've been tucking this little project into my bag for covert knitting while I wait for different things, but now it has gotten to the point that it is time to pull out the dpns to finish it up.

I am on the final book of Cheryl Mendelson's Morningside Heights trilogy (Morningside Heights, Love, Work, and Children, and Anything for Jane) and am beginning to cast around for something else to read.  I'm thinking about Home Cooking:  A Writer in the Kitchen.

Your photos are just gorgeous. I love berets on little girls - the Lottie will look so cute.

I love that sort of non-color of yarn. I always enjoy looking on Yarn Along and seeing cobalt and saffron, but when I choose a color for myself to spend time with and drape and hold near, it is almost always gloaming or earth. Beautiful roses. Keep us posted what your book search uncovers...
