I
spend a little time each week looking for interesting things for my
children to write in their copybooks, usually based upon a theme. I
will post them here each Sunday as a record for myself and as a help to
any other family that wishes to use them.

"It is better to be alone than in bad company. " George Washington
"Observe good faith and justice to all nations. Cultivate peace and harmony with
all." George Washington
"Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right." Abraham Lincoln
"Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be." Abraham Lincoln
"I remember my mother's prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life." Abraham Lincoln

The first one has been a favorite of mine for quite some time.
Perfect way to add a touch of class to teaching.
