Yarn Along: In-Flight Entertainment Edition...

I stocked my handbag well for the long flight to the wedding this weekend.  Into it's rather copious depths went:  September's UK Country Living, a copy of Atchafalaya Houseboat, and my Eternity Loop.  I spent most of the flight west knitting away on my cowl ( am now on the dreaded ribbing section) and most of the second flight back east reading some of the book (excellent, by the way) and watching The Way, Way Back (heartbreaking).

What are you reading and knitting?

A well stocked bag is wise when traveling. Sometimes I don't even knit while going away but the trip that does not having a packed knitting project is the trip I want one! Love the color of your cowl :)

I hope the knitting goes well for you. I just made something that is supposed to be newborn size and is huge, so I'm pretty disappointed. I will probably just give it to my two year old and make another one.
That book sounds really good, and I had not heard of the movie, but watched the trailer just now. It is a good cast Do you recommend it?

Last time I tried to fly with my knitting - my needles were confiscated! Apparently they are considered a weapon - LOL.

The UK's Country Living is always a treat - as is Landlove (another UK great!)

I love the soft colors of your cowl!

I have heard good things about that book too and will put it on my wish list. Thanks for sharing.

Always nice to have a project on hand while traveling; even nicer to also have a good book to dip into along the way. :)

Haven't flown in ages but I always take a well-stocked knitting/crocheting bag on road trips. It's a good way of getting some of the more tedious sections of a project done.
