Tuesday, July 3

Yikes...

Due to some errors on our part and on the part of the realtors for our present house, we have to move out of this house by next Tuesday (we originally thought the lease was up July 30th, but it was really June 30th!). Yes, there's a little bit of a freak out going on at our house, especially since as of Monday morning, we had NOTHING packed.

If I'm a bit absent from this blog for awhile, you'll know why. Hopefully I'll be back by the middle of next week:)

Happy Fourth of July!

Well, next Tuesday is better than, say, tomorrow! Good luck, and don't stress too much!

Oh, my! I'm terrible at packing, but my husband is an army brat--he can move in the bat of an eye! I hope all goes well for you.

Here is hoping that everything goes well with your hurried move! Conquer the Chaos!
...and don't lose anything in the move!

Hi Emma! I read your blog multiple times per day -- it's given me such inspiration, and it's so uplifting! Congratulations on the move! Even though it doesn't sound like fun whilst you're moving, once it's done and everything's reorganized and lovely, then it's fun! My question is, do you have an email where I could send a question to you? Thanks so much! -Annie

I love that picture! During our Connecticut reunion with everyone this past week, I found The Magic of Ordinary Days among Aunt Jen's things--the very copy you'd sent Grandma. It's made its way through Grandma and Aunt Susan, with Aunt Jen just beginning it. I got past the half-way mark, but as much as I hinted, she didn't offer it to me. Imagine my surprise when Anna brought a new copy to me last night as a little gift! Can't wait to finish it...Good luck this week. I'll send a kiss with Mama.
