I have been happily knitting away this month on a Ramona Light Cardigan and was very sad to discover when I cracked into the second skein of onyx fingering weight yarn and discovered that there was a massive color difference between the two skeins. I cannot believe that I did not remember that I needed to alternate skeins when using hand-dyed yarn. Though I really didn't want to scrap all of the work from the past two weeks, I decided to start again. I know that it will be worth it in the end!

ugh, I hate that! Hoping that the knitting goes by very quickly!
Ouch. Hope the new knitting effort is fun though!
I am working on crocheting our new baby's blanket now. After considering the blanket you suggested, I decided it was beyond my brain power at the moment. ;) But it's on my list. I ended up going for a very simple pattern that I can do while distracted at home, and while waiting for my many doctors appointments, no need to look at a pattern. Things are going well, but high risk pregnancies do kind of fry your brain (I know you understand!) and the stress relief of the simple work is a huge blessing at the moment. :) I'm hoping to get this done and make him a hat as well, before his arrival.
I love this pattern! If you wouldn't mind, it would be fun to see this modeled and how you pair your knitting creations with an outfit :) You are doing so well with your knitting!
