This is an interesting concept. I don't think it would work with my family. I think we have way too many clothes! We each have a dresser and closet. I didn't see any clothes that belonged to your husband. Does he not use the family closet? I'm curious: why do you think this works better for you than individual dressers and closets? At what point will your children have their own, or won't they?
All of my husband's things are in the dresser I mentioned... I probably didn't make that clear. We'll have to address the issue of dressers/closets of their own as the children grow and their clothes take up more space. I'm open to changing things up as the children grow and take on more responsibility. For example, our daughter wanted her 'own' bathroom (rather than using the master bathroom as the rest of us do). She now uses our former guest bathroom for her needs, but has to keep it clean by herself in exchange.
We don't have a family closet, but I think it's a great idea! Even better if it could include the Asher and drier :) I think I might go crazy with my kids throwing their things in there though. And I couldn't say much bc I'm the worst for a messy closet! Would love to see an autumn wardrobe post for you and the kids! Plus an update on your handbag! Blessings to you!
