Monday and Tuesday were such hot days. I took the heavy down blanket and white duvet cover off of our bed and brought out our white cotton summer blanket and gave them a nice long soak in Oxyclean overnight and a chance sunbathe on the bright patio all day. Now all of the warm, feathery things are tucked into the ceder chest and the summer blankets are gracing us with their presence once again. Ready or not, here summer comes!

Gosh it feels so good to change the bedding over, especially when it's all clean and sun-soaked like yours is.
In New Zealand we are heading into warm bedding time, but I'm still clinging to our summer duvet for now!
