Yarn Along: A Nest for Celeste...

I am chugging right along on Sugar Plum's cardigan...  I am a few hours away from finishing the sleeves.  I will to try to do the button bands on my own, but I may have to wait until Thursday to get a little help during knit night.

We picked up a copy of A Nest for Celeste while we were running errands last week.  It is a huge hit with Sugar Plum and Little Man and has inspired a lot of drawing and sketching!

Your sweater is beautiful! What yarn is that? I tend to make everything for my girl in blue and red since it looks so pretty on her, but I just bought two skeins of dusty rose madelinetosh (this is going to be an expensive sweater!) for her birthday/Pascha sweater. But I've got Tiny Tea Leaves queued up too - maybe for her fall sweater! I love your navy version!

I hope that you like the books as much as we do, Michelle!

Thank you, Arielle! The yarn is Madeline Tosh (clematis)... it is a purple blue color and so much prettier in real life. So far, I have been very happy with the pattern so far! I think that you'll like it!

GOOD BOOK! I read it a while back. Have you read The Invention of HUGO CABRET by Brian Selznick or Wonderstruck by the same author?? You might like them too. Hugo is a Caldecott award winner. Bought it through my scholastic book order several years ago..worth it.
