Feminine Friday: Sunglasses...

One of my favorite summertime (or anytime) accessories are sunglasses. Normally, I believe in quality over quantity, but with three young children sunglasses don't survive very long in our house. My favorite pair is from Walgreens and was under $10. I have also gotten nice ones from Marshalls and big box stores like Target. I have heard that you can get fabulous sunglasses at thrift stores, goodwill, and garage sales, too!

I keep my sunglasses right in the cup holder of our car so that I can grab them the minute that I need them. I feel a little more sophisticated and a little more pulled together when I put them on... which si a great feature for a relatively cheap accessory in your wardrobe!

Sunglasses make me feel sophisticated as well, and a little bit glamorous, like old Hollywood.

This is one reason I'm desperate to go back to contacts. I have sunglasses that clip on my glasses (not as dorky as it sounds, they are made to go together) and prescription sunglasses. I'm so terrified one or both will get lost or broken!

I am with you, Courtney. I've already told my husband that I plan to get contacts as soon as our FlexPlan is in place in a few weeks. I have prescription sunglasses, but they are more of a hassle than anything. I loved being able to just push the sunglasses on my head whenever I went in doors and into the shade.

Target used to carry $5 sunglasses that were perfect. I wish I had bought several pairs that summer because they don't carry them anymore.

Your sunglasses are beautiful, stylish, and thrifty. They are precisely the same as a pair from Gap, which were priced $30. Good find! I am heading to my Walgreens pronto!
