Finally!

For some reason this simple project turned into one that took forever to get around to! These binders will soon be filled with all the papers that are tucked into the nooks and crannies of my desk... I think that organizing by season and having space for school and craft ideas, homemaking, decoration, and list-making will really simplify things for me this coming year. Now all that is left to do is fill them!

As a past teacher, I can reassure you that these binders are really really going to be a big help!

Wow! These look great! I am doing something similar with files...I would like to know why you prefer binders? (not a challenge, just curious, as I am always trying to improve!)

I organize by season, too! Including my recipes. After all, that's the rhythm of our life, is it not?

Emma, I have to gush for a second. I love your blog. You have wonderful ideas and present them in such a simple and beautiful way. You have even inspired me to take more care in my prayer shelf and just making things more beautiful in my home. I like this idea a lot. I have attempted in many ways to do exactly what you have done (even with binders). So far, it has not really worked for me. I'm thinking I need to have binders plus a bin to keep the books and stuff too. I have even tried to divide it up by church seasons...I think I like the four seasons better...but that might mean bigger bins. Anyway, thank you for sharing some of your life with me. ;)

How pretty! (And I second Holly's gushing.) Good strength!

Ugh, I so need to get cracking on this! I just asked my mom tonight for book fair boxes to store my out-of-season books. There's just no more shelf space to keep them all out! I'm planning on revamping my old lesson plans to include in my binders rather than my file cabinet. Although I could dedicate one drawer per season instead. Hmm...
