In the News
I loved reading High Tea, Afternoon Tea, Elevensies: English Tea Times for Dummies. Apparently, Tea Tuesday is a regular feature on NPR!
On My Bedside Table
I first read L.M. Montgomery's Anne books as a new mother when my friend, Courtney, sent me the entire series (plus a few other Montgomery favorites). I always intended to read the Emily books, and finally bit the bullet and ordered them all this weekend after seeing the gorgeous cover of Emily of New Moon on Instagram. I can't wait until they arrive!
In My Knitting Basket
There is a nice stack of Nineteen Hundred House Dishcloths that I was able to finish during the end of May and early part of June, and I still have a bit of cotton yarn left to knit a few more in the coming weeks. Also on my needles currently, is a pair of Amelie socks that have been languishing for far too long. I'd like to finish those soon so that I can start using a skein of the palest pink sock yarn I bought myself for Pascha!
Watching
The current Masterpiece lineup on Sunday nights is pretty stellar: Grantchester, My Mother and Other Strangers, and Tennison. I like to savor these shows by recording them and watching a little bit each night of the week.
In the Kitchen
I found an etched glass cake dome for my cake stand the other day in an antique shop and am really looking forward to baking a two tier Carrot Cake with cream cheese frosting for the feast of Saints Peter and Paul on June 29th so that I can use it.

I love L.M. Montgomery books, but I have not read the Emily series either. I've read the Anne books, as well as a few of her other collected works. :)
