"Eliza
lived in a castle beside a forest. The castle was filled with light and
life, walls hung with colour, crowed with people. The lower floors were
warm from the kitchen forest and rich with the scent of baking and
roasting. The higher floors damced with the light that flooded in
through casement windows, glazed in colours that made sunlight patterns
dance of the rich tapestries that hung on the walls. Everywhere was
warm, and the upstairs rooms were scented with roses and lilies. The
queen loved flowers, she loved her husband, but above all else she
loved her twelve children."
