Sugar Plum and I took a day trip to the Sheep & Wool Festival today and met up with Lila and her little baby! We also got to visit with Presvytera Catherine and her girls for the first time which was so special.
Nearly all of the photographs I took were of the gorgeous woolly animals that we saw, but the goods that were on display and for sale were so wonderful! Sugar Plum and I bought a few things (some project bags from Madder Root, a jar of Maple Cream, and two relief tiles by Judith A. McKallar).
Lila introduced me to Neighborhood Fiber Co. (which I had heard of from my sister, Kate). Though I didn't buy anything, I was able to pet a lot of the yarn (it came in such gorgeous colors and felt so nice in my hands). I am definitely going to order some for my next project.
I'm already looking forward to next year... it is such a joy to spend time with like-minded friends!
