These Madeleine Cakes from @quaintfrenchliving smell wonderful! I didn't have two loaf pans, so I made do by using a pie plate for our second one. I'll keep one for our family and serve one at coffee hour tomorrow.

The Lavender Farm

 

 

We visited a little local lavender farm today. I must remember that it is better to go in June next year, but I am glad that there were some blooms left for us to see today! 

The Minor Leagues

 

 

We took the kidlets to a minor league baseball game near where we were filming last night. Checking off that summertime bucket list is in full swing!
