It's a Start

 

 

I went out to get the paper and it feels like the start of autumn! I know we won't actually have autumnal weather until the end of October or maybe even November, but for this brief moment, it's cool (no humidity!), breezy, and almost crisp. Yay!

We had some friends over for lunch today. The menu was a Mediterranean feast: Greek chicken, onions, and peppers, spanakopita, tzatziki, zucchini Milano, and avgolemono (Greek chicken and rice soup with lemon). All recipes are on my blog except the avgolemono, which was a recipe from Food & Wine.

Botanical Lace Wrap

 

 

I love, love, love knitting lace! This is a free pattern from @purlsoho called Botanical Lace Wrap and I'm knitting it with the Madeline Tosh Farmhouse White yarn that I harvested from the stripy garter stitch shawl I frogged on Saturday night. This will probably take me awhile, but I don't mind in the least.
