I can't stop thinking about a movie ("Maudie") I watched the other night... and not just because Ethan Hawk looks just like he belongs to my husband's band of brothers, either.
One of the main things that I took away from the film was the incredible joy that Maudie exuded despite her circumstances. Her life was hard from the get-go and no one (not even her husband) was "there" for her... despite that, she just patiently endured her physical suffering and the harsh treatment of others and painted to her heart's content. Have you seen the movie?
