The children and I had errands to run in town last week. One of the shops we stopped in was Hobby Lobby and I was surprised to find that they are now selling felt letter boards, which I have admired from afar on Instagram. I was able to use a coupon to buy it and have had fun coming up with different quotes to use. In the end, I decided to go with one of my favorites by Louisa May Alcott, " The power of finding beauty in the humblest of things makes home happy and life lovely."
Currently, the board is hanging in the dining room, but I am hoping to find a good spot for it is the playroom, which is where we spend a lot of our time during the school year. I think that the grey of the felt and the lightness of the wood will look quite nice in the grey-blue of the playroom.
