My husband had to visit a hospitalized parishioner today, so the children and I tagged along and wandered around one of our favorite seaside towns. The children enjoyed looking in the shops, while my favorite part was gazing at the gardens and architecture. I believe that this was the first time that I have seen Lily of the Valley growing. I'd like to add a few plants to my garden this coming year.

My husband loves Lily of the Valley, as did his mother. We recently brought some of her plants to our place. They smell so good.
Oh, I just love Lily of the valley! And it spreads like crazy! It has almost completely taken over my north garden that is right outside my kitchen window. Once it is blooming and the wind is right, the scent of it fills my kitchen. It is absolutely heavenly!
