The trio and I went to a local farm today that allows children to gather eggs from the chickens' nesting boxes on Saturdays and Sundays. It was exciting and we were very happy to meet the friendly chickens and the barn cats that roam around. We brought home a dozen eggs and will definitely be back to gather more in the coming weeks!
