While flipping through my Joy of Cooking cookbook a few weeks ago, I came across a section entitled Ideas for Simple Sandwiches and Their Relatives. The author has written 14 sections that she has divided by typical fillings for sandwiches and follows each with a list of dressings and bread combinations that taste delicious together. I wish that I had found this sooner!! Lunchtime seems to always be difficult in our house - even if I've just gone to the store- and I don't even have to pack it for my husband (that must take a lot of creativity!)! I think that our real problem is that we get stuck in a rut and I am hoping that this section of the cookbook will pull us out of it. For the next few weeks, I'll post a section a day. Let me know if you have any more ideas or if you try any of the combinations! Enjoy!
