A Juniper Bonnet

I finished knitting another @foxandfolk Juniper Bonnet just a few minutes ago. I love this pattern! It's so quick and easy. Since this bonnet is for a little boy, I left out the lace. This particular shade of grey is so perfect for the rosy complexions of newborns.

Raspberry Houses

I knitted up four raspberry colored Nineteen Hundreds House Dishcloths for some family friends who just moved to a new home. I used Cascade Pima yarn and love it! I washed these in Mrs. Meyer's Pine scented soap and tied them up with a little scrap of silk ribbon. I hope they like them!

A Paper Wreath

There's something about November and December that makes me want to do all the paper crafts. I saw a paper fan wreath on @may_petschel 's feed, so naturally I had to rip up an old English Literature textbook from the thrift store to make one, too.

This Beautiful Fantanstic

Have you seen the movie This Beautiful Fantastic? It was in my recommended movies on Amazon Prime and was great! It reminds me a little of The Secret Garden and Penelope.

Library Lady

I popped back into our daughter's school today to observe her during one of her specials. She gets to work in the library checking out books for students and reshelving books. Basically, she's living the dream!

Maple Glazed Pecans

My family has been gobbling up maple glazed pecans this week. I just lightly toast a bag of pecans in a dry cast iron pan and toss them with a generous amount of maple syrup. Once they're coated, I spread the pecans on some parchment, sprinkle on some Maldon sea salt, and let them dry. They are so delicious!

An Elegant Manicure

Our daughter was invited to get her nails done with her best friend this past weekend. I love what she chose!

The sunset was so beautiful last night!

American Education Week

I had such a fun time visiting our daughter's school today!  I arrived just in time for lunch (I brought us some burrito bowls from Chipotle!) and got to observe gym and Language Arts.  She's doing so well and the school is terrific!

Chic Project Bags

I was so excited to see that Fringe Supply is selling these great project bags that are made from the scraps left over from their Field bags and other specialty totes. These are perfect! The colors are great and they are so sturdy!
