I have never seen an Orthodox wedding before so this was interesting to me (and beautiful). Tell me, did your father put their rings on the wrong fingers as part of the ceremony, or was it just a mistake? Dana
After being blessed by the priest, the rings are placed on the right hand, the hand with which promises and/or oaths are traditionally made and the hand with which the presence of God is recognized through the sign of the Cross.
