For fifteen years, my family lived in West Virginia in the neighboring county of this monastery. We are not Orthodox, but we have some good friends who are and we visited the monastery with them a few times and met many of the wonderful people there (monks and nuns and laypeople) at Nativity and Pascha parties. We've also attended baptisms and weddings there. The monastery is in a beautiful setting and the church itself is inspiring. If you ever get the chance to visit, it is well worth it.
