I had Cheryl Mendelsen's wonderful book years ago and passed it on, I wish I hadn't:) But did you know she also wrote some really good novels? The first one is called Morningside Heights. Really wonderful writing. I don't know if I would love it as much now as it has been years, but I remember liking it quite a lot.
