Yarn Along: Milk Chocolate...

I began a sweater for our middle son with a skein of Shepherd's Wool in the colorway Milk Chocolate.  It is such soft wool and the color is perfect.  I began knitting it yesterday afternoon while sitting in the driveway watching the children "play" soccer and it looked so wonderful in the golden October sunlight.  It looks pretty amazing in the dim light of the dining room on an overcast day too, I think.  The pattern I am using is Tama and so far it seems like it is pretty straight forward.  I am knitting him a size 5 (he's between 5 and 6) and hoping for the best.  Thankfully, I have two sons in case it turns out to be too small!

I have been reading At Home with Madame Chic and have been enjoying every minute!  It is such a great little book on keeping home with a good attitude - one of my favorite subjects!  I also caught the seasonal puzzle bug a bit early this year and pulled out Ladies and their Unicorns to work on the next couple of days.
