A few more inches on my Shale Blanket! It's proven itself to be a good knit for this unseasonably cool autumn. I needed a sweater when I went outside to take this photograph!

I'm working on the same pattern for my d.i.l. who shared it with me when she was about half way finished. Sadly, I've not done more than a couple rows. :( Your completed blanket is inspiring me to pick it back up! Beautiful!
