Yes, indeed. These moments come only once. I have only one month left before my youngest heads off to first grade, and glad as I am to see her growing, I mourn the passing of those baby, toddler and preschool years. Gone forever!
Aw! My baby boy is starting to walk, but I think it is just too cute to see him standing there, checking things out from the new vantage point! Plus, I get a great view of those legs! Those adorable baby legs! I have to admit, though, and not at all ashamed to, but it is indeed bittersweet to see my latest baby growing up. No longer an infant. I cradle him and he pours over my arms and wiggles to get out and go exploring. Sometimes I wonder if I could ever truly be "done" having babies.
