Nursing Tank Tops...

After seeing my friend nurse her son while wearing a nursing tank top, I knew that I wanted to buy a few for my current nursling. I checked out Glamourmom Nursing Tanks and was all set to order one when I double checked to see what Target had to offer. Since the Gillian O'Malley tanks are about half the cost of the Glamourmom ones and had great reviews, I decided to order one to see how it worked. The tank arrived today, and I am ready to buy more! I am going to see how they wash and air dry before I do, but I have to say that I am pleased with how they feel and fit. I was really hoping that it would arrive before the big Baptism weekend! I'll let you know how it holds up!

  1. Gillian O'Malley things hold up really well and are very comfortable. I think it would be a great choice for a nursing tank top.

  2. Yes, please keep us posted! I have a Liz Lange nursing camisole from Target that shrunk a lot in the body. It's way too short and barely covers my midsection, and you know how short I am! I live in my Glamourmom tanks, but would love to find an alternative that's not so pricey but holds up as well!

  3. I had some of the ones from Target a few years ago and I didn't like that they were too short (baby bellies like LONG tanks). BUT after my last LO, I got a few more as gifts and LOVED them. They hold up forever. I dried mine on the line out of fear of them shrinking and getting short...and so far, so good. Good choice ! They basically can turn any shirt you have into a "nursing shirt" !

  5. lovely top! I meant to comment the other night when I saw you in it. The colour really suits you and the cut is wonderful over your BUMP!

  6. My only complaint about nursing tanks is that they don't help plunging necklines (for me anyway). So I end up wearing about three layers if I wear the tank... tank, top tank, shirt.... But I guess that's what I do if I wear the Bella band with my bra, under a tank, under a shirt. All in the name of modesty! Sigh. :)
