Choosing a Paint Color for the Family Room...

Fr John went to Lowes a few nights ago to get a couple of things and came back with some paint samples! He entertained his bedridden wife by painting two patches of paint on either side of the fireplace. I think that we are going to go with the darker of the two colors. What do you think?

  6. i like the darker one too! you have a very similar fireplace and mantle as we do, i painted our walls around it back in the fall. we also have the exact same screen in front of ours...is yours so little hands dont touch hot fireplace too?

  12. Nurturing Faith and Family - Yep, that is why we got the fireplace guard. I love the style though, so I am glad we found it:)
