  1. Many years to Fr. John!

Is he named for St. Innocent (who was also Fr. John)?

  2. Yes, he was named John so that the name Innocent wouldn't be a burden to him... His father was a priest in Alaska when his first two children were born and both he and my mil developed a great love for the Alaskan Saints while there and named their third son Peter after Saint Peter the Aleut!

  6. Thanks for posting this. My son's Name Day was also yesterday. His is Saint Thomas and we didn't even celebrate b/c I didn't know how.

You have given me a great idea of dinner and dessert choice.

    Many Years Fr. John!!!
