Living Easter...

We visited a nearby Living Easter on Saturday night (the same church did the Living Nativity in December) and really enjoyed it! It was very solemn, tasteful and child-friendly - a good way to near the end of Great Lent!

  1. this looks lovely!

I receved the book in the mail last week. I'm excited to try out the recipes as I just found a good place for less expensive fish. Thanks!

  3. Do they have a scence where someone depicting Jesus is on the cross ? That's the only thing that has turned me off going, I don't think Reagan could actually handle seeing that,

  4. HI Penny!

No, they had no scene like that. I think that they did an awesome job of keeping it very kid friendly! There were a lot of children there (of all ages). Maybe you can go next year!

  5. Penny, they try to keep it very family friendly, but make it meaningful as well. We ended up missing this one, but went to one at a friends church. When we got to the cross, they let the kids hammer nails into it (a symbol of their sins), the kids loved doing that. At the end, they pulled all of the nails out, because Jesus died for our sins. It was really great. I hope I can go to this one next year.
