Taking a Page from the Nester's Handbook...

After having the small table for nearly two years (wasn't it the most ugly piece of j.u.n.k picked up, ever? Now I love it!), the rocking chair for six months, and the little nightstand (it was forest green) for a few weeks, we finally got over our fear of black spray paint! I am thrilled with the outcome and feel like I can tackle the nursery next! We'll see how that goes...

Thanks, Nester!

  1. OOhhhh now you're tempting me! I have been thinking about re-painting our white washed living room set forever, but I keep chickening out because I worry how the tops will hold up under the paint and how they will look! I need details!! What kind of paint did you use? Are the table tops easily scratched, etc?

  2. Hi Sylvia!

I used Krylon Interior-Exterior Spray Paint. It is for wood, metal, glass, wicker, and more.

It seems to be holding up nicely. You might want to ask the Nester... she has more experience than me!

  4. Looks great, I am on a challenge to Spot clean the house, and I believe with the items I do decide to keep will be in need of some TLC to help them look decent, thanks for that extra nudge in that direction.
