An Update on our Little Man...

When we went to the hospital to visit our baby boy yesterday, we were thrilled to find him in a crib rather than his incubator! Happily, he is able to regulate his own temperature now and can be free from life in a box. He is also now officially over his birth weight at 4 pounds 3 ounces and is eating by nursing or bottle-feeding (pumped breast milk) mostly - though he still gets a few tube feedings when he's extra sleepy. We seem to still be on target for January second for his homecoming... I am literally counting down the days!

  1. I hope you get your little guy home soon, and that you are soon snuggling on the couch together. It must be very hard to be apart - I can't imagine it.
    Merry Christmas.

  4. I'll never forget the day we went to the hospital and our son was in a crib instead of the incubator. It was right after Christmas, too. What a happy day! It's the last step before coming home!
