  2. What a wonderful video. Thanks for sharing, it makes me smile. I love old shows like this. I have the Ozzie and Harriet DVDs and I LOVE old movies. I agree with anonymous. I wish people were still like this.

  3. I enjoyed watching this too. I long for a return to social courtesies and manners like this! I can only imagine what the youth of today would say, though they could learn from was related here. Thanks for posting this, Emma!

  4. I fall under one of the 'youth of today' and I agree with everyone else- it would be nice if those social courtesies were still considered normal. I wonder if many young men know that some of us young ladies would like to be treated us a bit more like that, meet our parents, come pick us up...perhaps they just aren't aware. Thank you, (Emma?) for posting what you do. I have been reading your blog for a little bit and it's nice of you to take time out of your day for this blog. I find it very neat! Have a great day.

  5. I am glad that everyone is enjoying these little videos! It has been so much fun to dig them up! I would love for the culture of today to be a bit more like that of the 1950's. I guess that it is up to us to institute a change!

  6. That was so cute. Thanks for sharing it!

There *still* are *some* people like that around. Let's raise up some more!

It is amazing to realize how recently that kind of politeness was expected. It has gone downhill so fast! Let's start the trek back up that great hill. :)
