Have you tried the Penney's catalog? Seems like I remember they carry various chair cushions, including the highchair variety. Maybe something in a sweet pink gingham? You could always add a bit more character on your own..... Julie
Emma, I love that highchair! I must know where you found it! The closest thing to a nice wooden highchair we located is one by Eddie Bauer, and it still had plastic parts (tray).

Thanks, Emma. I wish I had known about this site too! Oh, well. Live and learn. The plastic tray is easy to keep clean and I guess that is a blessing. If I'm ever a millionaire, though, I'm getting the all wood chair! ;-)
Do you sew? You could purchase some very pretty vinyl-type fabric or even oilcloth in a vintage-print to make a cushion from. For a no-sew option, take a piece of plywood or super-stiff cardboard, cut to size, cut some cushioning to fit, then cut the fabric a couple of inches bigger, stretch over the cushioning and board, and staple on the bottom. Trim and voila!
There are two reasons that we are getting this chair: A) My mother-in-law is paying for it (love that!) B) I ordered a plastic cover for the tray
Plus, I love it:) It really is a bit of an extravagence though!
Thanks for the tips, Mrs. H.! I think that I am going to try to make a pad by myself. I am not much of a seamstress, but I don't think that it will be too hard... plus, maybe it will encourage me to sew bigger and more complicated things!
