A Feminine Corner in Our Bedroom...

I was finally able to set up the dressing table that my parents gave me for my birthday several years ago. Though it still needs a small chair, it has been serving its purpose very well! I keep my make-up in the center drawer and my perfume and creams on the top. My favorite lamp, a mirrored tray, and floral arrangement complete the look. I feel much more inspired to add feminine touches to my day when I spy this little table!

  2. It looks much better now than it did in our basement!

I wanted to let you know that I inadvertently robbed you of the black pants you loaned me, and I've also discovered that I have a few L'Occitane products (a lip balm with SPF 15, "magic eye balm", "ultra rich face cream", and "extra-gentle cleansing milk", which I want you to have, as I haven't used them much and I know how you like that brand. I'll give you the lot of it when I see you next!

  3. It looks so lovely and feminine.

Is it too nosy to ask you what kind of perfume that is on your table?

  4. I love dressing tables, and yours is so pretty.

I have one that my mother used. I made a cover of yellow fabrics for it. But, I don't yet have a good mirror on the table, so I tend to use it more decoratively than actually as a dressing table. But, I have made a list for Santa...

    I loved your handmade bows.

  5. That's funny -- I was going to ask you what kind of perfume you wear, and I see Mrs. B. was thinking the same thing! I am trying to decide on a scent for myself.

  6. I'm glad that everyone likes it! I believe that it was purchased at Target a couple of years ago.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the L'occitane products, Kate:) I am excited to try them out:)

It isn't nosy at all to ask about my perfume, Mrs. B. and Leannot! I answered the question in a new blog post:)

Your dressing table sounds lovely, Elizabeth! I hope that you get your mirror for Christmas! When you do, please post a picture:) I'm glad that you like the bows I made. It was a lot of fun!

  8. I love the dressing table. I need one desperately, my "her" side of our his-her sink is invading my dear husband's "his" side. I'm sure Hub would agree!
